Orbitlas

AI disclaimer

Orbitlas is operated by an individual, a person and not a company. It is for adults 18 and over. Questions go to privacy@orbitlas.com. The Terms and the Privacy Policy govern use of the service. Disputes follow the laws of the State of Delaware.

Outputs are generated by a third-party model. They may contain errors. Orbitlas AI sends the question to Google for processing. On the free Gemini tier, Google may use that text to improve its products. Do not enter personal information. Values are labeled as sourced or estimated, and the model name is shown with its sources. Verify important facts.

AI-generated estimates

If no sourced dataset matches a question, the server asks a free-tier model (Cloudflare Workers AI, then Google Gemini) to estimate each country, and fills the rest from regional averages. Each such value carries the label "AI-generated estimate; may be inaccurate.", a method, and a low-to-high range. Corrections you request with follow-ups are estimates too. Estimates are never presented as measured data.

The content policy prohibits disrespect of religions, including Islam and the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. Users who violate it may be suspended.

What the model is allowed to do

The model may only choose a metric that exists in the catalog, or one of the labeled historical sketches. The server fills the numbers. A Sourced value names the dataset and links to it. An Estimate names the method and the range. If no data exists, the map says so and draws nothing. Sentiment and religion shares are not estimated. They require an ingested aggregate that passes a minimum-count threshold, and those maps are noindex.

What it will not do

History

Islamic history, the spread of Islam, caliphates, empires, and trade routes can be mapped in neutral scholarly language. Dates, extents, and events are cited. Uncertainty is an Estimate. Conquest, slavery, massacres, and exploitation are stated plainly when a source supports them, for every state, with the scale labeled as an estimate. Achievements, contributions, culture, science, trade, and governance are stated with the same care, with sources and labeled estimates, for every civilization. A sourced harm is not dropped in order to praise a state, and a sourced achievement is not dropped in order to condemn one. A miraculous tradition is not drawn as a measured route. Islam as a religion stays separate from the acts of rulers and states. Those layers do not depict the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. Muslims regard him as the best of creation and the perfect example. That is their belief, not a ruling by this app. Other religions are described only as what their followers believe. This app does not endorse those claims, does not mock them, and does not affirm shirk. Sunni and Shia views of early succession are stated with sources, without the app taking sides, and only when someone asks. Persecution of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ by the Quraysh is stated from the sources. Satanism and harmful cults can be described factually, without instructions or praise. Religions are not ranked.

Not advice

A map is not legal, medical, financial, or security advice. Borders are a visualization of a dataset, not an endorsement.
